I invest significant time and effort in making the ilanart website accessible since its initial construction. The website is fully accessible in accordance with Regulation 35, Israeli Standard 5568 for web accessibility and WCAG 2.0. I have chosen the AA standard.<\/span><\/p><\/header>

On this page I will detail the tools and methods I used to make the website accessible, as well as explain how to contact me if there is a need to fix an issue or improve accessibility.<\/p>

The website was made accessible as follows:<\/p>

1. Adapting the website to all modern browser types (i.e. all except Internet Explorer).<\/p>

2. Adapting the website to all platform types \u2013 mobile, tablets and desktops.<\/p>

3. Adapting the website for keyboard-only use.<\/p>

4. Adapting the website for people with partial visual impairment.<\/p>

5. Adapting the website and its content for people with partial or complete hearing impairment.<\/p>

In order to make the website and its content accessible, the following changes were made:<\/p>

1. Changes and testing to ensure compatibility with all browsers and all platforms (responsiveness).<\/p>

2. Adding access keys in a way that does not conflict with natural keyboard actions, and verifying that all parts of the website can be reached using only a keyboard.<\/p>

3. Checking color contrast, adding descriptive alt text to every image on the website including in the various guides, and adding labels to various forms.<\/p>

4. Adding an accessibility toolbar with the option to adjust the website display according to various disabilities (color changes, contrast, enlarging or reducing text, etc.).<\/p>

The tools I used to test accessibility are:<\/p>

1. The accessibility standard itself as detailed on the W3C website<\/a>.<\/p>

2. The testing criteria as they appear on the Israeli accessibility website<\/a>.<\/p>

3. Manual scanning of the website’s source code.<\/p>

4. Using WAVE<\/a> \u2013 for contrast testing, website structure review, and general scanning according to the WCAG2 standard.<\/p>

5. Using the AC Checker<\/a> tool for final validation of the website and its various sections.<\/p>

6. Using the Evaluera<\/a> tool for manual testing of the various points.<\/p>
